Grr. I'm super pissed with mlg. Anyway, I've sent the powerpoint slides and speecha that we are gonna show on that day to some people (xinyi, gen, ersy, xinmu, jiayi, eunice tan, eunice ong, monica, natarie, waiteng) cos mlg is restricting the no. of people I can send to. Please help to pass it around!

The powerpoint slides are courteousy of Monica and the speech is written by xinyi and will be read by edna.

I was kinda thinkg of a small skit (approx 5 people) acting out the song cos I agree that it's rather boring. Let me know if you've any ideas or want to volunteer yourself;)

hello class! I kinda have a suggestion for the chi students.. Rmb laoshi sang a song for us? I was thinking.. Maybe we can sing a song for her for Teachers day this year and do it us a whole chi class with C2 and g3(if they want lah). I think it's only right that we do something nice and memorable for laoshi.. Afterall, laoshi has been doing a lot for us for the past two years and as we all know, laoshi indeed put in tremendous effort for our class.. hello all g1 babes!

Though we didn't win in today's reel art competition, I'm sure we won in terms of hardwork & class spirit. like what farhani has said, we all won in our hearts. And to me, that's enough. All of us have put in a lot of effort, esp the prop makers who spent the bulk of their time putting everything together and making sure all the characters can wear as similar to the figure as possible. Though we may not have the support of our teachers, we supported each other throughout, & that's why really matters. I think, through this experience, we've all grown closer & that's an experience which winning cannot replace. If we had won without putting all the efforts we've put in this time, then winning isn't a success, it becomes a facade. However, all of us had fun putting in effort(as seen from the 2 photos I've uploaded despite its unglamness & lack of usefulness) & spending time together right? So I think that's all that matters. Even though we aren't the level champions for reel art, we're the school champions in terms of class spirit & unitedness cos g1 you're so fine, you blow my mind:D

A big THANK YOU to those who contributed to the POTC props! We really appreciate it! But the problem is, we need MORE! And also, suggestions on how to DIY are thoroughly welcomed! Please feel free to give suggestions because those are what we need right now.

Roughly, we're lacking a few materials here and there. They are mainly:
Dark coloured/brown vests
Dark coloured/brown long/three-quarter pants
BOOTS!! (Dark or brown)
ELIZABETH'S GOWN!! (this is really tough)
And lots of cardboard etc.

If you have spare cloths or rags (assuming that they somehow look like a pirate's belonging), please feel free to contribute them to us.

How to DIY Jack Sparrow

Make-up: To recreate his look, simply line each eye with eyeliner pencil and smear it. He has a bit more of the same on the center of each eyelid.

Costume: The cheapest way to become Jack is to forget about the details. People will still know who you're supposed to be, and it's unlikely that you'll run into the "Jack police". You'll need:

Any white, long-sleeved shirt that can show a bit of chest
Any dark pants
Any dark colored vest (the longer, the better)
A bandana, scarf or fabric remnant with some red in it
A long sash or long piece of fabric (red, white, brown)
A belt to wear over the sash (dark red, brown)
Eye pencil to apply under and over each eye, then smear
A beard & mustache, or draw them on
Long hair or a wig with beads
Boots (brown, black)

heyo. I know you guys are all pretty agitated over the whole tablet stuff. i seriously think we need to petition against this issue or something. it's getting on my nerves. it's like, the school is forcing us to do things that we dislike and they're totally treating us like puppets! (well, literally.) but dont let this problem affect our studies and bother us too much okay? i mean, there isn't any point brooding over it since it has already been done. and let's not take it out on our form teacher since she's just paid to do so and it's not entirely her fault either.

since we can't do anything about it, the only solution is to adapt to this stuff with our best efforts yeah? (unless you really wanna petition lol)

welcome to the new year! haha ok. what do you think of the new teachers? dont they suck? ok lah, not all of them but most of them. why do we always get new teachers? :[ and why must the sec 4s be on the 3rd floor? this is injustice!!!
